THEY MIGHT BE GIANTS WINDOWS 95 THEME! (theme, theme, theme) (for Microsoft Plus!)
This isn't an improvement on the old one (if you ever saw it) Yes, now Windows 95 will be bearable with the soothing sounds and sights of the band They Might Be Giants. To learn more about They Might Be Giants, go to http://www.tmbg.org/ or visit your local library.
This theme contains ALL original graphics (except for the scans of course) created by the author, Mitch Fishman (mitch@tmbg.org)
You must already have this file unzipped in some directory (sorry... FOLDER) so just copy this in to the \Program Files\plus!\themes\ directory.
Then, go to the control panel under the Start Menu/Settings/Control Panels and choose Desktop Themes, and then choose "They Might Be Giants (high color)"
If you don't have the choice of Desktop Themes, you don't have Microsoft Plus!. But thats okay! Just go to the Sounds and Desktop Control Panels and configure the stunning multimedia manually.
"High Color" means that Windows 95 must be in high color mode. It works okay in 256 color mode, but it just isn't the same, man! Again, go to the Control Panel, and choose Display, or simply right-click on the desktop and choose Properties. Go to the Settings tab and choose, under Color Palette, High Color or True Color, depending on what your computer supports.
About the theme's graphics: All cursors and icons were created from scans or from scratch using various computer programs. You like what you see? E-mail mitch@tmbg.org and I'll see what I can do for you. Imagine your face as your wait cursor! Oh, the possibilities. Anyhoo, the recycle bin is actually has the cover to the Snail Shell radio promo single, the Ana Ng cursor is from the video of the same name, and that wait cursor really does say the band's name reeeeeally small.
